Katie is an actress and singer originally from Smithfield, Rhode Island. Most of her experience lies in the musical theatre realm, but she has also dabbled in “straight” theatre, commercials, film, and voice-overs. Katie chose the detrimental life path of an actor by the age of eight in a quest to be the next Little Orphan Annie. Sadly, she was too chubby to play a malnourished  orphan, but she did land a role as Gretal in The Sound of Music, and her love affair with the stage began.

Let’s fast forward through countless community theatre and school productions to 2009 when Katie graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She got her first professional theatre gig at age 19 as Tracy Lord in the Cole Porter musical, High Society with Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre. Upon graduation, Katie moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and traveled around South America with an educational theatre company. With a new language under her belt, Katie moved to NYC at the end of 2011 where she has embarked on an enlightening artistic journey. Click on “News” to check out her current endeavors.
